Playa del Maro is a very popular and yet secluded beach. Only about 1.5km from Nerja it easily accessable by road, as there is a roadway leading down to the beach. The waters are protected as a marine national park, so many people enjoy snorkelling here.

There is a small cafe/restaurant here, and an ideal place to get away from the bustling crowds of Summer.
