One of the best locations in Nerja, Las Fuentes de Nerja is set in a beautiful and peaceful gated community, on a headland, between Torrecilla and Salon beaches. A 5 minute stroll will take you to the centre of Nerja and the famous and majestic Balcon de Europa. Walking to any part of Nerja is relatively flat and very easy. Internet cafes and a cash machine are directly outside the grounds and a small supermarket a stone's throw away, while the apartment is situated well away from these in probably the quietest part of the complex. The approach to the apartment boasts extensive sea views and you may be greeted by the wild parakeets in the adjacent garden. This luxury apartment has a roomy double bedroom, with large en suite bathroom, and a twin bedroom with its own shower room, toilet and sink. The double bedroom overlooks the pool, while the twin room has sea views. Both bedrooms have built in wardrobes. The refurbished kitchen is fully equipped to include washing machine, new ceramic hob, electric oven, new ss sink and drainer, granite work surfaces, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle. A spacious, bright
lounge/dining room is tastefully furnished, and has a free view TV, with
BBC and ITV channels, a DVD player, CD player and radio. Doors open onto
a sizable patio, which faces west, with views over the pool, and is furnished
with table, chairs and loungers.
The communal pool
is large, and unusually, open all year. Even if you don't want to venture
in, out of season, it offers a pleasant sight, accompanied by the sound
of gently lapping water. It is closed every evening to ensure peace and
quiet. The buildings have just been repainted, and Antonio, the caretaker
keeps the grounds in excellent order. As with much Andalucian architecture,
there is a Moroccan style to the community, with passages revealing unexpected
glimpses of the sea and garden with exotic plants fragrant trees and fountains. Beds will be made up for you with towels provided, (weekly change). Please bring your own beach towels. We can give you information
about activities in and around Nerja and also recommend interesting day
visits in Andalucia. A number of websites are very informative and helpful
for newcomers to Nerja and we'll always try to address any of your questions
or concerns. |
